Is it bad that what I want to know most is what that means for licensing rights to comics (currently held by Dark Horse, but presumably to be passed to Marvel sometime in the foreseeable future)?

Though, thinking about it, it wouldn't be a real stretch to take the Phoenix Saga as originally written and read it as being about losing someone to bipolar disorder. It's really only about 15 years after that the Phoenix mythos started getting complicated and stupid under the weight of a million retcons.

I feel like someone should point out that not only is this guy probably a psychopath, he's also a really shitty writer.
