Did I interpret things correctly that Aiden is out of the picture, at least for awhile since Emily told him to leave until the dust settles? If that turns out to mean he's leaving for quite awhile, that's the biggest victory of this episode. He's always been a drag on Emily. She was much more compelling in Season 1

To see if it's possible to turn a love rhombus into a love pentagon.

How does Emily get away with staring daggers at everyone? Connie calls her his guardian angel. Emily death stares at him. Connie announces he's healthy. Death stares. I like suspending disbelief as much as any Revenge viewer, but shouldn't her facial expressions match the role she's bluffing here?

I'd be a little more mad, but the Denver Post ran a similar pic the other day on the cover of the entertainment section. What I'm most mad about is it suggests Aiden isn't leaving soon.

I don't understand what chemistry people see with Aiden. The first season was magic b/c Emily was a strong female lead who didn't need a man around to prop her up emotionally during the tough times. Aiden, to me, is just a reminder of how they screwed that up Season 2. I find their scenes dull and hope he's gone

Maybe when Patrick starts busting off lines like Tyler used to Conrad's face. So far, Patrick is boring. Tyler was campy fun, I thought. I'm still waiting to feel like Patrick is acting rather than reciting lines woodenly.

But, what about Takeda's black circle targeting method from the German assassin pic?  Perhaps an homage to him consisting of black circles around targets that are later filled with a red x's is what the show needs.

I'm going to watch it, too, mostly b/c I haven't watched a CBS show in years and it feels kind of weird.  After watching a bit of Arnett's last show, I feel like I need to watch just to find out if he's capable of making a good choice.  I'm setting my expectations on 'low', but I'm there.

So true.  Getting those awards was so lame.  I feel like a parenting hero when my daughter's school district sends out the truancy form letter every year after 7 days missed.  I think we were skiing with out of town cousins on day #7.

Agree.  Similar to Suburgatory and Dallas becoming completely insufferable this past season, the way this show is using the Frankie character is cringeworthy.  The premise started out funny enough at the power company, but her over the top behavior took it from funny to making me feel bad for allocating free time to

Good list.  Also,

I didn't get the feeling that Takeda wanted to take over for Emily or that he was Initiative or evil.  I thought he wanted to stop Aiden from trying to convince Emily to abandon her effort.  Takeda lost a loved one on that flight, and he trained Aiden and Emily to be soldiers in his revenge effort.  He fought Aiden

I hope the suburbs of Detroit are responding to this by commissioning a Bill Haverchuck statue.

Per your post, I went back to the scene.  Charlotte does say that she is with Daniel, but doesn't say where they are (the call drops).

I thought the show was more than a bit of mess, and the last half hour just got more than a bit silly with the out of the blue massive plot twists that weren't supported by enough information to make clear sense.  I did like the scene with Amanda and Jack at the end.

"So the Falcon implicated Nolan as the mastermind, which was corroborated by a suddenly-alive Padma?"
Didn't Trask make reference to Padma getting in front of the camera when he took her to her eventual death site?  My guess was that she recorded the video under duress before she was killed, probably to allegedly save

Declan literally dying of a broken heart is figuratively making my heart sing.

Speaking of Revenge's ability to pretend things never happened, was there ever any scoop on how William Devane went from meddling Grampa Grayson to a person who never attended another family event ever again?

Takeda, you let me down.

Agreed, though it left me wondering how she can make payment on her promise of returning Nolcorp (sp?) to it's rightful owner.
