It was strange, but perhaps understandable.  Ashley is an aggressive opportunist, but she has been a victim of coercion (flashback episode) and hasn't at any time, that I can recall, been in favor of violence.  Was she ever privy to the Grayson family's violent turns before the Ryan brothers storyline?  I don't think…

I didn't think it was a bug.  I thought it was a visual reminder of where he was the day before, and a reminder to him to be a good revenger (strong under pressure).  I'm not sure what to assume about The Falcon as this point.
