I'm still completely baffled by the Masuka daughter subplot and why it has to waste 2 minutes of every episode. That awkward shit just doesn't belong in the pilot episode of a show, let alone the final three episodes in an 8 season run. I have to assume that because the writer's can't come up with a plausible

Remember when the purpose of Dexter's job was to act as a cover for his second life of actually killing people while also giving him the tools to track down most of his victims?  Do the writer's actually expect us to believe this Argentina bullshit is a good idea when it will remove him from his ability to use police

If the end-game for this show involves the damn brain surgeon being the focal point, I actually kind of miss the pointless arson phantom bullshit from last season. At least then there was hope that future episodes/seasons would build on something worth watching. Now we have to start caring about the serial killer we

Even after rewatching it, I can't remember if he lived or died. I seem to recall a lot of pointless characters being poisoned without the cops catching on, and he might have been one of those.

The problem with this show since season 6 is that the numerous unintentionally bad moments slowly enrage most viewers to the point that they can't even appreciate the decent moments as mindless entertainment. This show has always had terrible dialogue and bizarre plot holes, and it simply doesn't hold up in the

If this show were going to pull that shit with Dr. Vogel, they would have done it last year with that bizarre and pointless arsonist plot that I completely forgot existed until I rewatched the season.

There is no argument I can come up with to support Season 6.
Exceptionally boring villain somehow played by an even more boring actor, terrible plot twist everybody predicted
when watching the teaser trailer for the season, and absolutely no real
development with any of the major characters. How was Season 3 any worse

Wasn't Lundy essentially the same character? The autopsy scene today almost completely matched the scene where Lundy was examining the Bay Harbor Butcher victims early in Season 2.

It really does need the music video for full appreciation, but not to the extent of some their other tracks (The Creep especially).

"I'm supposed to — I've got — I'm supposed to —"

Regarding the ice, did you not see the half dozen of Bane's men with guns supervising the exile? If anybody actually made it across, they were going to get shot.

You suck McBain!

I think everyone agrees she is too shitty of a detective to plan that one.

I couldn't agree more. So many people constantly complain about the never ending hypocrisy of Dexter's detailed use of Harry's Code to vet people, but then willingly killing random strangers without a second thought. This episode seemed to finally tackle that argument head on, and people's response is still

I think it's clear at this point that Matthews knows that Dexter is the BHB. We are just waiting for the big reveal as to why he is protecting him.
