That's it for me. There is something just so wholesome and comforting that is specific to the LOTR/Hobbit movies. When the music started up in the titles at the beginning of An Unexpected Journey, I teared up a bit from the nostalgia wave that hit me.

Agreed on the splitting the movie up, though I'm glad there are 3. Also, you just get a lot more Middle Earth lore and other fun stuff you get to soak up. It's such a fun escape.

Solution: Don't go see Man of Steel. Everybody wins!

I think it's a decent criticism of games like GTA IV, where the whole story is "I want to get out of this life!" and you do nothing but massacre thousands and run people down and crash helicopters.

Man, it's my favorite song. It sets such a great mood.

Only a couple songs in, but this album sounds great. I love the way "Keep Your Eyes Peeled" chugs along. I'm at this point where I'm realizing QOTSA is one of my favorite bands and I had no idea it was happening. Their music is all so badass and sexy and fun to listen to.

Also, what is up with the "league of magicians" they want to get into? What is it? Why do we care about it? What is anyone's motivations in the movie? There is absolutely no character to any of the magicians or people besides Ruffalo/Laurent so it's hard to care about anything.

Hello….

Out of all the shaggy dog casts in the world, Wilson had to walk into mine.

I'd burn my finger if I touched him.

I don't recall Gillian Jacobs notably swearing in any of her CBB appearances. She always comes off as very intelligent and sharp to me.

I like him. He does my least favorite thing comedians do, though, and constantly comments on the reactions his jokes get and if they should have gotten more/less laughter. Otherwise I find him really entertaining.

She also started adopting the "hey, baby" attitude of Campbell and Rust near the end, which I thought was hilarious.

I actually don't know how I feel about Delpy being topless for most of the movie. I always kind of liked how simple and sexuality-free the other two were, despite the topic. I mean, you barely see them kiss.

I'm wondering if Peter's ballot-stuffing was another factor that contributed to Alicia's decision at the end. Maybe Cary's speech about wanting to do the right thing as a lawyer got to her, and she thought she could at least work for a firm with some ideals if she was going to be married to a vote-stuffer.

Sex complicates things.

I desperately want to get my mom watching this show, but I don't know if she can take all the infidelity/staying loyal to a disloyal man stuff. How does your mom feel about it?

Yes, you are the only person in the entire world that thinks that.

Hey, I like Spoon, and would like to hear more of their music! And, if they think it sounds good, all the better!
