Totes. Beginning was a bit too long/exposition heavy, but it eventually was really funny, had some great action that was very different for an Iron Man movie, and actually had some well written and refreshing villains.

Why didn't we get to see the fat tankbuster suit more? That thing was badass and then Tony killed it. There was only like 5 more seconds of it than what we'd already seen in the trailer.
I spotted him outside the van before the scene started and was like "HEY that looked like Adam Pally!" Then when he showed up it just made the movie for me.
Dude, if Guy Pearce becomes MODOK I might literally cum myself.
I give a shit; that's pretty cool! He's a big time comedy TV writer you know.
I don't think I ever thought the violence was intended to be hilarious in it. Maybe laughing uncomfortably at it because you have no other reaction available to you, but not hilarious.
It's weird how things not in the movie count as not being in the movie!
From her Earwolf page:
I thought it seemed pretty genuine. Aukerman was definitely poking fun at WTF, but I don't think there was anything mean about it and he was definitely interested in getting Maron share some stories and not just doing a bit about out-Maron-ing Maron.
"I should have filibustered" after Scott closed the floor for questions make me laugh so hard I had to pause it.
Now I'm all bummed out
Totally agree. And there are some story twists that are pretty nuts (I should clarify my above post, I don't know it if is understood that I was trying to say I thought this week's episode was bonkers).
This is one of the most disturbing movies I've seen. I haven't seen many of the typical classics, but something about this one really got to me. I really enjoyed it, but the violence seemed so real that when Rainn Wilson was clunking people over the head I was like "No! Those are real people and you're KILLING THEM!"
Yes, it was much better! Good call.
This week, Scott Aukerman out WTFs Marc MarĂ³n. Enjoyable episode, it still had some of that weird CBB feel while also being a nice look into the lives of Maron and Aukerman. Also Maron takes Would You Rather so seriously and brings such a strange perspective to it that he makes that game really hilarious.
THIS WEEK! What the heck?!? Crazy that you could actually spoil this podcast for someone.
What a chump!
@avclub-d7d4d711e8f9aed9e81023f75b83df52:disqus I can't remember that well, I haven't seen it since it was in theaters. I think I just assumed they were monsters and went with it.
100% that movie will be PG-13, and thus no nudity. Not unless someone is drawing her in a non-sexual situation a-la Titanic, at least.
She's our very own Mr. Skin!
