The problem is the twist, and the revelation that the monsters aren't real completely destroys the tension in the movie. Once you know it is just fucking Adrian Brody running around in the woods it's not scary.

I agree with you. I don't know if I was in a bad mood or something, but I hardly laughed during this episode at all, which is pretty rare for me. That physical comedy bit went on way to long for me and I just sat there looking at it waiting for it to be over.
