If I had to be as objective and critical as possible, I would still probably only give it a C at worst. It's seldom boring and Sean Penn's overacting wasn't as awful as I had feared.
He's a dreamboat, alright. Seemed to be doing a Brando imitation throughout the movie, which was better than the parts where he decided to deliver his lines ultra-flatly in order to seem smoother.
