Yeah, say what you will about the Scary Movie franchise, but there is usually at least a handful of chuckle-inducing moments in each entry, which is more than I can say for any of the Friedberg/Seltzer films that I have sat through.

Don't most Ween fans refer to them as Deaner and Geaner? I thought those names were encouraged by Gene and Dean themselves. Probably doesn't make it any less obnoxious to you, but it's not like the guy just made up a cutesy nickname for them on the spot.

My least favorite thing about The Oscars? The way they inevitably cause perfectly fine, if not great, films to get dismissively brushed aside in future dialogues because the Oscars gave it more attention than it deserved. It would be nice to read a comment about The King's Speech or The Artist that didn't place so…

If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't bother. I personally really enjoyed the movie, but it sounds like it would do nothing but irritate you as you sat through it. There's not really much in the way of camp to find either.

This is pretty much my view as well. Rabin is probably the movie reviewer that I agree with the least on this site, so I'm still holding up some small hope for this.

Is it bad that I'm excited to see this movie Thursday night? A lot of the comments around here have suggested that the trailer is crap and that it looks laughable, but I still have a glimmer of optimism about it.

Surprised by the C+ review this movie received from Tobias. I just got back from seeing this and I felt like what I saw was more of a D+ movie at best (and this comes from someone who is often guilty of being too forgiving in his grading).

I still love Ebert and his reviews, I've just come to terms with the fact that there are certain types of films that I will not be able to take his opinion seriously on.

I was tepid on her pop-country material, but We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together was one of my favorite pop songs of 2012. I still plan on listening to Red someday to see if there is something else for me in there.
