I forgot you were from the UK, Kareebel. The distance running culture is so dense there. Pretty cool.

A lot of famous people had voice and commercial gigs before they got their "big break." Dude, this is a commercial for a multi-billion dollar corporation, that was aired in a prime spot on the Super Bowl. I'd take this kind of work in a heartbeat. These commercials probably take about a couple hours each to record the

I think you you mean "Harsh," billy.

The Cross Country Girls I remember tend to be a mix bag when it comes to looks. A lot of skinny plain Jane types.

Bear, Which VERSION?

I ran both distance for track and CC. I loved it. Our team had a really bad coach, though. His training methods weren't very conducive to us actually learning to race in a strategic sense. Or even getting better… My dad maintains that if we had a proper coach that would actually train us and, you know, motivate us,

Damn. Right.

My dad is a huge fan of the comedy stylings of one Randy Quaid. I just love Bill Murray and the bowling ball worth of sleaze he makes his character out to be. I'm laughing just thinking about him groping all those ladies.

"the film's parting message is that simply trying your best is a victory in itself. That might normally be bullshit, but…"
Sounds like someone was cut from the JV lacrosse team and had to settle with cross country.

Tonight: a hockey arena becomes a scene of violence.

Hey!
I've eaten at that very McDonald's on multiple occasions!

"Baggle."

"Put your tongue in her ear."

What I like about this show
Is it's ability to nod towards the obvious tropes that it may or may not be servicing in the episode, and yet, still work them in and tweak them to something new.

I'd like to look half as good as McHale.

In this same vein
A few nights ago, I heard some old Woody Allen bits on the radio. I'd really like to listen more of his stuff, anyone have any insight into what is worth listening to?

Eva Mendes' breasts frequently make cameo appearances in the movies I make in my mind.

I think the closing scene of Roger Rabbit is just one big acid trip. All those happy toons singing that song over a melted corpse. Creepy.

Detective
is gonna crack this one. Even if he is only a week away from retirement and the Mayor is breathing down the Chief's neck.

Now I'm just picturing Harrison Ford yelling other crap about clocks.
