"Bobby's helping me fill my fountain pen."
Yeah, that was the "blink and you'll miss it" moment of the episode for me. He had that distinction last episode too, with the whole "Can you believe this girl?" "I don't know… can you?" exchange. Ken's the man.
He calls it Frogurt.
Nice. Reminds me of that awesome Neil Young score to Jarmusch's "Dead Man." Hell, that also had Johnny Depp in it. Whatever else you can say about him, the guy's effective bait for good musicians.
Not yet mentioned: Ken Cosgrove was golden.
Definitely sounded like Don talking through a young woman's voice.
Nice write-up so far, Scott, but I don't think "venal" means what you think it means:
OK, I'm wrong — Limehouse dimed to Raylan about Boyd/Devil.
Raylan didn't shoot anyone in the season 2 finale, did he?
Limehouse didn't turn anyone into the cops. Errol did. That's why Limehouse was going to banish Errol.
Actually, what's most interesting to me about this interview is that it's about a new series written by former-Wire scripter (and *excellent* novelist) Richard Price. Looks like it's called NYC 22 and it premieres next Sunday. Cool. Cool cool cool.
1. Could someone refresh my memory what the status is of Wynn Duffy's ties to the Dixie Mafia? Seems like he's making a huge power play by the end of this episode, trying to get Boyd either taken out or imprisoned while nailing Quarles at the same time. If he gets backing from both Detroit and Dixie, I see him pretty…
Big baby Jesus, I can't wait!
Season finale of Archer? Weak! I thought those three pirate episodes were supposed to be extras on top of the regular season, no? (Or am I thinking of It's Always Sunny?)
Well, I'm a sexy Dracula. And I don't need to know which Dracula I am to be a Dracula. Nerd.
Wallace died in the first season.
If I was a horse I'd be down on my fetlocks praying nobody casts me in LUCK.
Or with CLUB SAUCE.
Not enough foreplay.
