And after her inevitable demise we can just recycle the same thinkpieces by doing a find-and-replace and swapping 'Asian' for 'Italian'

Did you see the pool?!?!? They flipped the bitch!

This was one of the first CDs that my younger sister owned. Needless to say it was played A LOT around our house in '95-'96 and I've heard it enough for a few lifetimes. Even given all that, I can't deny how fucking good "Spiderwebs" (and to a lesser extent "Excuse Me Mr.") is.

The common thread was that in both scenes it was the sound design that did a number on me more than the visuals, especially this week when the really icky stuff was kept offscreen.

I actually prefer The Geraldine Fibbers' version which sticks to just appending the 'I ain't done bad' line as the moment of triumph. It's also got a better, or at least a less faceless, arrangement and a less over the top vocal…I'll just lnk it because it's a nice counterpoint to this version in so many ways

Was expecting a different Airborne Toxic Event song, especially since "Sometime Around Midnight" does this type of thing much better.

THE KANYE THE

Yay, Purity and Control got mentioned!

Song: "Tomorrow Never Knows"
Album: Revolver

"Think for Yourself" is my go-to 'Macca isn't all bad' bassline. I still think he's terminally corny and responsible for a lot of the Beatles' worst material, but stuff like that softens my stance ever so slightly.

Can't disagree even though I love Miranda.

Honestly, I think that Le1f simply rapping about his queerness is far more vital than Macklemore "rapping" about his support of it if that makes sense.

"Can't Hold Us" was basically a Pitbull song except I only felt the urge to punch Macklemore in the face half the time rather than the whole time.

I forget most of their actual names but…
