In the first season or so of Flashpoint, they seemed to hide the location better but later on, it was definitely Canada with tons of locations shots in Toronto with the unmistakable CN Tower…  On this show, it took a bit of time to set the location but the CN Tower was the key…  I see the doctor didn't seem to care if…

Concierge is retainer based…  Helps to get around the socialized medicine problem for the wealthy..  If you read Joe Klein's piece this week in TIME, he describes a version of it that treated his aged parents in their last days…  Generally, you have unlimited access to doctor without worrying about fees and bills..

it is a shame that Tara got canned and this one kept..    I guess strictly a money thing with possibly higher cost actors…   I felt this show should have checked out with Paul dying last year and kept Tara..

Initial night ratings mean even less to Showtime than HBO… Like HBO, multiple showings and On Demand and Online options give it plenty of choices..   Plus, Showtime pretty much leaves their entire library available at any time…     I watch this show mostly online due to my Showtime subscription being at my other…

Ratings for HBO are meaningless other than a general indication of excitement..  Because of all the multiple channels and timeslots along with On Demand and OnLine options, first episode ratings for Premiums doesn't mean much..  They mostly get a better feel from direct feedback from subscribers as to interest…   Luck…

Well…  I guess elitist AV Club reviewers show how out of touch they are…  This lousy show set cable records every night…  it sure looked like those viewers hated it after night 1…  Night 2 was almost as big and I would guess last night was even bigger..    I am an elitist myself frankly that I don't like many shows…

I enjoyed this especially Kidman….. She looked great both in and out of her clothes..   It was long and a bit overstuffed but I didn't care…. I guess HBO is going for the Made for TV Movie Emmy and frankly it'll  be considered just for the large scope it had… Really haven't seen the Spanish Civil War shown on anything…

I so agree….  I was attracted to this show in the first place from her older roles but she has made me forget them…  This is what she'll be known for going forward…   Great job!!!!  She could easily go to other jobs as a hot-looking bad ass heroine…  You couldn't have said that from her Everwood and Brothers and…
