I think Agent Freddie Prinze, Jr. said he was "tracking down a lead." Boom! Excused!

I'm embarrassed to admit I recognized her immediately as Tom Hanks' love interest in "Turner and Hooch". Well, the love interest that wasn't a dog. By which I mean canine.
Who dude, did you just drop a hard 'M'?
Great intro, Heisler!
I saw this on the home page, and I wondered how anyone at AV Club could possibly set the stage for an interview with Tim Kring without making his work sound like a steaming dump left by a mutant on someone's lawn. But you didn't shy away from it. Good job!
At last!
The ever-elusive D-minus, the Gentleman's F.
I would argue that the recent "Prisoner" remake tarnishes that record, at least a little bit.
Like a girdle?
I miss the writers' strike, if only for the AVC poster "Striking Leno Writer." Man, that guy was good.
Crabs?
Yo' angah is makin' me strongah!
Agreed
I agree with Heisler about the first season. I rewatched it over the summer, and it holds up surprisingly well. Even after the episode-13 climax where the cheerleader is saved, the show still doesn't spiral down into crapitude. Some of the shots in those episodes are really great, the acting is hammy at times,…
So this was supposed to be one of the final episodes for last year? Wow. I thought they learned a lot about how to write the show during the course of last season, but this episode would suggest otherwise.
God I had forgotten how much I hate her voice
Also, I love the caption on the promo photo over her shoulder when she brings up the Iditarod: "LOTS OF DOGS".
Man, what a douche
Somehow I don't think Jesus would want this guy hanging around in heaven. It'd mess up the property values.
None of these shows sound good
On a related note, at this point it feels like the AV Club is actively trying to avoid writing about the Leno/Conan fiasco. I hope it's not true, but let's start posting some rumors, AV staffers!
Bravo, Jorge.
THAT'S why Susan Boyle looks so familiar!
Robits!
I kinda love this show, too
It's really grown on me, which is a shame, as it's only a matter of time before ABC admits that they're scheduling the show this way because it's getting cancelled.
Like an ostrich in a lab coat trying to catch a bus.
