I agree with Heisler about the first season. I rewatched it over the summer, and it holds up surprisingly well. Even after the episode-13 climax where the cheerleader is saved, the show still doesn't spiral down into crapitude. Some of the shots in those episodes are really great, the acting is hammy at times,…

So this was supposed to be one of the final episodes for last year? Wow. I thought they learned a lot about how to write the show during the course of last season, but this episode would suggest otherwise.

It's really grown on me, which is a shame, as it's only a matter of time before ABC admits that they're scheduling the show this way because it's getting cancelled.
