Doesn't "mockumentary" imply something funny? Can a drama be a mockumentary, or is it just a fictional drama done in documentary style?

Branding question for the AV staffers
So at the top of the interview he notes that he's talking to the Onion, and I'm pretty sure you guys have tried hard to become a separate entity. Are you still having to promote yourselves as "part of the Onion" to get interviewees' attention? Or was Eggers just not paying

Thank you, Mr. Trump
Every year you gather a group of people I have no interest in ever seeing, and trap them all together in one place so I know where to avoid them! Thanks, buddy!

I think you mean to say:
"Alvin, the bad-boy Rocky Richter of the bunch"

He's obviously responsible for the looks on Streep's and Baldwin's faces.

If I were gettin' paid to act in some steaming pile of shit like this (knowing that the only people who will ever see it will be people pre-disposed to liking it), I think I could muster up the enthusiasm. Buy the book. All your questions will be answered.

Nabin, any of your posts about your book are always a treat. The emotion surrounding the entire project is palpable. Keep up the great work.

1. AV Club has an answering machine
2. ZMF calls to "brighten their day"
3. Cuba Gooding Jr. is the "patron saint of direct to DVD shit"

Guys, guys, guys! Not just penetration, but FULL PENETRATION.

I think that with a few better-handled scenes earlier in the season, that kind of emotional power tonight wouldn't have felt out of place at all.

It only really bothers me when there are moments without any production on the vocals in the same episode. In this ep it happened when Rachel sang "Smile" to herself in the mirror. It was a great moment, and her voice sounded real.

I wonder what they'll say on the Top Chef blog. Tom always seems to justify their decisions versus what the editing suggests the outcome should have been.
