That's it. There is no next step, as unfortunate as that sounds.

If that blurb was in regards to the Candlenights Spectacular, I'd agree. It was a bit of a dud. But this week's was CLASSIC.
It's been on my radar for a month or so, but for whatever reason I still haven't listened. I think your recommendation is the gentle push I needed to finally check it out.
For a guy I thought was kind of a schlub on SNL, I'm continually impressed with Sans on podcasts. He's always great on improv4humans (especially in an early episode with Andy Daly, where Sans plays a blind man at a whorehouse…seriously, check it out if you haven't), and he was terrific here.
It was an all-timer for sure, but did anyone else think that Jessica St. Clair came off as a little mean?
I'm a little surprised too. A few people have said that the characters maybe don't fit with what the show would become, but the episode itself was classic.
What about Jack's family?
No, they had to go ruin a perfectly good family comedy.
That HAS to be the one with the unusually graphic depiction of the bends, should you make the unfortunate choice of trying to reach the water's surface. One of my faves.
HEY BULLETPROOF WAS SOLID
That was a funny run, but other than that, I thought the episode was pretty average, sadly.

Agreed. I don't think PFT likes performing with people who don't support his style. I got the same sense from a few of his appearances with Adomian, where he seemed genuinely annoyed at the direction some of the bits were taking.

It's the fucking absolute worst is the deal.

It's not quite on the level of the Ben Schwartz Red Foo/Sky Blue quiz episode, but it's definitely not far off. WC? has gotten noticeably better since summer ended.

Adomian's the most manic in terms of quality characters. When you see his name on the line-up, you could be in for a Top 5 (Huell's original meltdown), or an instantly forgettable mess (Dr. Bronner).
