It does bring to mind the question: If you're going to go out of your way to create a superhero with NO superpowers - just a lot of money and cool shit - shouldn't you AT LEAST get the science right?

…which, in a nutshell, is the problem with how this movie is perceived. Is it REALLY beyond reproach? Is it really worth THAT level of voracity in arguing about it? I liked it, while simultaneously finding it incredibly fucking silly, and I caught ENDLESS shit from my friends for sharing that opinion.
