One movie I went to see in a completely full theater, there was a woman behind me translating every single word in the movie to her aged mother. I thought I was going to lose it.

I used to work at that Spaghetti Warehouse! The office was upstairs, and we could go downstairs to get free lunch. They told me I'd get sick of spaghetti but I never really did.

I think they must be putting in new sidewalks near my place too. They are cutting down trees, marking underground utilities, etc., on the street near me. The one drawback to this location, which is so close to shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores, is that it isn't walkable. There are sidewalks here and there

It's tough because there needs to be a happy medium. My friend's 10-year-old daughter is one of those only-eats-white-food kids - basically bread, pasta, yogurt, rice. My friend doesn't want her to get a complex about foods but the daughter is already heavy and getting shit about it at school, and we just want her to

I would guess it's not the taste - it's the texture. 90% of my food pickiness comes from texture. I don't eat mushrooms, peas, lima beans (or pretty much any bean) - I could go on for hours.

We had to eat everything on our plate. And I was an amazingly picky eater (now I'm just an irritatingly picky eater). I would have died for only three bites.

Ha!

Not that I'm aware of.

Damn straight!

I think Capaldi was pretty darn craggy and crotchety - the old part is relative.

Also, it's "dentil" molding, not dental molding.

I would love that library!

I didn't even really realize they were mannequins at first look. I was just wondering why they published pictures with people in them. Then I saw that one on the ceiling.

One of the captions does say something like, "sorry, the art goes with the artist!". God, I sincerely hope so.

That eyebrow thing is really getting to me. Why would you do something that unflattering??

I didn't know it although if I had thought about it, I could have got it. Science, especially chemistry, is one of my surprising gaps of knowledge. Plus I didn't take chemistry in school and I almost flunked the chemistry portion of my general science class.

I liked Bennington! Of course, I never actually lived there. My uncle owned car dealerships in Bennington and was kind of a big man in that town, and I was there reasonably often when I was in my 20s and living in Western Mass.

Didn't do a damned thing. I was going to go to the local comic/sci-fi convention because I thought Karen Gillan was going to be a guest, but when I double checked, she wasn't on the list. So I stayed home and did laundry.

That is such a beautiful campus. I had no idea about the Hill House connection.

She did an amazing job in Season 1 of Broadchurch. It'll be interesting to see her take on the Doctor.
