I did too - I really, really wanted Elisabeth to win.

Even I got final jeopardy and I've never even seen The Godfather.

He seemed very smug to me. I wanted to slap him every time he answered with his little head bob and smirk.

Well, now that you say that, I feel like an idiot - of course the voice! Oh well.

Sue Perkins?! God, no!

I hadn't seen anything either. I don't watch BBC America for anything but Who right now, and I don't follow any of the online sources, so I was completely unspoiled (at least until BBC America decided to spoil the very show I was watching).

Yeah, I got that time dilation thing right away and I felt kind of smart until all the other things that I should have seen coming, instead came as a complete surprise to me.

I didn't know that John Simm would be in THAT episode and I haven't really been watching the promos. But I had no idea that Razor was the Master.

How was it obvious? I had no idea it was going to be about Cybermen until that ad break (grrr!), and I had no idea Simm was going to be on this episode. Granted I haven't been reading a lot of Who materials because I've kind of gone off the show the last couple of years.

I did not know what was coming (I basically just watch the show as it happens without trying to make any forecasts or connections) and I was really mad about that spoiler.

I was infuriated by that. I cannot believe BBC America thought it was a good idea to have a spoiler in the very episode I was watching. Plus they seemingly had a spoiler for Season 2 of Broadchurch, as someone here mentioned a week or two ago - it hasn't been out that long! And technically, season 1 was also spoiled

It's not good but until there is a viable alternative (vat-grown meat?) I'm going to continue to eat meat. I'm too picky an eater to be a vegetarian esp. since mushrooms seem to be one of the main meat substitutes and I won't eat mushrooms.

Cooked carrots are generally quite gross. But if you don't overcook things like green beans or broccoli into a southern slop, they can actually taste good. My little sister used to eat green beans right out of the freezer - my parents would just pour them on her plate frozen.

Oh course it's the reason. There are any number of foods that I won't eat because of the texture - peas, lima beans, mushrooms, liver. etc., etc.

It was very like that suit! No, he had called ahead to arrange to meet one of our managers who would take him on the mountain, and he came to the office so he didn't have to stand in line for a lift ticket like a caveman.

I actually like that whole album - it's very sing-alongable.

I think Radar Love is one of the first songs I ever downloaded on Napster. (Remember Napster?) But Tainted Love and Groove is in the Heart are very close follow-ups.

It makes me laugh that you mention Michael Bolton in this context - I actually worked at a ski resort and one night Michael Bolton knocked on the office door so that I could call someone to go skiing with him. Yes, I have been within 5 feet of Michael Bolton wearing a complete skiing outfit.

I started working at a ski resort in 1985 and I remember the big snowboarder debate. I think when I stopped working there in 1991 they still didn't allow them.

I wish they would go ahead and do it - I hate that show.
