Well, now I want to go read that again.

I was positive Major was going to get scratched, and that that was why they asked him to the party.

I knew the answer! I have no idea how.

See, I don't see why other intelligent life would be farther beyond in technology. Who's to say that they aren't still at, say, the Neanderthal stage? And I also don't necessarily believe that aliens who are way ahead of us in technology would be beyond aggression and hostility, as so many SF books say. Why would

I doubt he's ever put enough thought into that kind of thing to even be able to form an opinion.

Hey, I talk to inanimate objects - a cat's a step up.

A family cat once brought home a baby bunny, but we don't really think he caught it, just found it.

Yeah, I was gonna say - I used to leave my kitty alone for up to 5 days. She preferred it because at that point in her life she hated everyone but me.

He can't fit it on his fat, stubby fingers.

What an idiot.

Ha!

I had always wanted to ride horses and when I finally took lessons in my 30s I discovered I was way too scared of horses to ever ride them.

Now that's a good story!

It might!

Oh my god, I saw just a clip of that while I was catching up on Full Frontal - I can't watch that shit when my roommate is home. He might be frightened when I scream at the top of my voice "oh you stupid fucking fuck!". Hysterical, my ass!

I really, really hate the shaved-head look on (most) men. Yes, you don't want to have a comb-over, but can't you just cut it short and style what you have left?

It's a really good series!

My introduction to Discworld was Guards, Guards! and I would recommend reading that next. I went back later and read the early books and there is a definite improvement. My feeling is that if you don't like Guards, Guards!, you're not going to like Pratchett.

I read Not Alone by Craig Falconer last night. It's about a guy who finds secret documents that lead him to believe that aliens are real. It's better than my description - other than a shaky start and a couple of minor things that didn't need to be there, it was a good read (it's 715 pages though!).

The closed captioning said Monster. And Master, come to think of it. Monster Master?
