Gross. I wish someone would kill that guy.

Wearing black - wasn't the guy at the right wearing navy?

Those pork chops sound fantastic!!

There was a gator story too - something about a gator with a body in its mouth. Didn't see a snake story, though.

Boy, he gets seriously angry at raw red onions!

I had cake! I had a piece of Strawberry Shortcake cake on Saturday. (And yes it was a cake, not just strawberry shortcake.)

See, I don't see why you can't keep that part but churches and non-profits should be taxed. I see these big huge monster churches take over acres of land and they don't pay a damn thing. It makes me mad.

If they work that close to the bone, they won't have to pay taxes. Just like a person living in poverty doesn't pay taxes. I want everyone to pay taxes, fair taxes of course, but I don't care if you're a religion or not.

Well, Laura's not a librarian, she's a media specialist or library assistant or something. I don't know anything about Laura Bush though.

Yeah, the only thing I know about A Tale of Two Cities is its opening line and which cities it was about.

In the Thelonious Monk thing, I don't think you can call that a Point of Order. The "would have" means that had he been around, he "would have" liked it, right?

I ordered Jimmy John's yesterday online and they've started putting the calorie count for each item right on the line next to the price - it actually made me decide not to have a Dr Pepper and have an un-sweet tea instead.

What the heck is Seeso?

I read that and I quite liked it.

That's funny because my one point to make a different choice would also be to go back to my h.s. year and go to non-local college. (Except in my case I just didn't go to college right away.)

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It was okay.
The Collapsing Empire by John Scalzi. It was good.
The Marriage Game: A Novel of Elizabeth I. It was okay but not even close to being one of Alison Weir's better books.
Several other misc. mysteries.

Chewbacca.

It's actually yin and yang.

It's driving me crazy the past few days! I can't like or respond to anything in the notifications section, so sorry, everyone!

I couldn't come up with the name but I knew exactly who they were talking about. I don't suppose they would have accepted, that woman poet who lived in New England, you know, what's-her-name!
