Well, if you live in NC I have a room!
Well, if you live in NC I have a room!
I've been without a roommate since Dec. 1, and I had someone come look at the room and tell me on Monday she'd like to take it. Tuesday morning I get an email from her saying she's staying with a friend for March. Grr.
How does she even know? Is she asking you if you've used it?
I knew who it was and I knew the "shouting contest" but I could not come up with the name. Aging is hell, people!
I said "always sunny" - I'm assuming they wouldn't have taken that.
I vaguely remember hearing that before, come to think of it.
Yeah, that'll have to wait until I get home!
Well, I know I've had crushes on book characters before, but I don't think I ever heard them talking to me after I finished the book.
I pretty much only like cherries in this pie. I actually don't even like cheesecake but this pie has a different texture than cheesecake. And I was not aware Michigan was a big cherry-growing state!
Interesting!
My favorite pie is cherry cream cheese pie (w/ a graham cracker crust). It's really, really sweet though, so I can't eat as much as I used to.
Well, now I want pie. Especially lemon pie. But I don't have a food processor so I think this crust may be more trouble than it's worth.
I read that as "if he's a duck" and I wondered why ducks would be sex offenders.
I watched 2 episodes of Sense8 (more sex and nudity than I expected), 1 episode of Crazyhead (not sure how I feel about that show), and almost 1 episode of Santa Clarita Diet (hate it).
Ugh, sometimes I'm embarrassed to live in NC.
I think I ended up getting a few of the ones where nobody got it right so I'm proud of myself even though I had no idea on FJ. Also, I loved Megan's solar system print dress!
I felt all along that it was going to happen, but I didn't really expect it to happen in the middle of the season. I wasn't really prepared for it! I think they did a nice job with it and it'll be interesting to see it plays out in the next episode.
I read Dark Matter by some guy. It was really stupid and had pages of 1-sentence paragraphs which I find very annoying. I started a re-read of the Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters. Made a little progress on Jeff Vandermeer's humongous collection called (I think) The Big Book of Science Fiction. Fortunately,…
Someone (I think here) mentioned that they bought it and loved it.
I don't know - they were all kind of giggling throughout and I think it slowed the game down.
