I just watched Roger Rabbit recently - it was on Netflix. It's a fun movie.

I think I made it to book 5, but that one … when I got about 350 pages in and only about an hour or two had passed in the book, I threw in the towel and haven't read any more.

I fully endorse The Historian. It's a vampire novel for those who are sick of vampires.

The child had been on Adderall and the other one like it, but when she died, she was actually on something called Provigil, which is for narcolepsy, and was banned by the FDA for children under 18 THREE FUCKING WEEKS after she died. I am not making this up.

I honestly and truly believe my friend's 14-year-old daughter committed suicide in large part because of the drugs she was being given for her ADD (which I actually never thought she had in the first place).
