The only person who should play and/or write for Waller is Shonda Rhimes.

Tell that to the X-Files. I honestly think it's a network thing — they're not down with the CW at all. Ridiculous.
Yeah, neurotic. It's not the fixing, it's the fact that it comes down to him (and just him) fixing it all.
Yeah when you can't argue with the point, you argue with the execution. He's hitting execution hard…
No disrespect either — this one just bugs me.
My comic-geek friend and I got into an argument about this after the Arrow/Flash cross-over. He won. His point: Green Arrow in the comics is basically a janitor — he cleans up the city but never thinks the city is going to be clean which gives a nice and humbling dose of cynicism. Batman thinks he can fix it all and…
Batman's emo song is my world. "Darkness, no parents. Being rich, kinda makes it better."
Ugh did you have to go with Girls? Come on, there are plenty of other shows and writing rooms that might admire what she did, regardless of her sex. It may have been mutiny but that script was bullshit.
Yeah but look at 'The Social Network' — he added in to Zuckerberg some pretty heady issues regarding women. With Job's notorious temper it could get ugly quick.
I've heard he is a master at keeping a grudge. The show is ending so it's not like much will happen to this room but you do wonder…
Ehhh he's kind of known for this though. I may like some of the West Wing scripts but the guy has seriously creepy views on men, women and sex. I can't imagine what Steve Jobs is going to end up as on his watch.
Am I right in thinking that all positions of power for the grounders are held by women so far?
The parking garage/christmas music scene is probably going to be in my top 5 pop culture moments from the year. So well done and such a laughable nod to all shows doing their "holiday episode" right now. Never change show.
Wild is the Wind, Feeling Good, The Other Woman, Just Say I Love Him, Everything Must Change, Baltimore, Gimme a Pig Foot (and a bottle of beer), Just in Time, Blues for Mama ("hey lordy lordy mama, what are you going to do?" for favorite Nina Simone moment in a Nina Simone song) …. this could go on awhile.
I just like picturing "There Will Be Blood" by Wes Anderson because it'd clearly be a strawberry milkshake, a 70's bowling hall filled with avocado greens and lush caramel hues, and Daniel Day Lewis would wear a cap. And suspenders.
One could also make a point about how most of the people asked for comments on Bill Cosby are black, which is a whole other issue (that Chris Rock is doing a good job discussing these days).
I liked the no plying beverages for the free chili dog joke — and it was the first time I've cracked even somewhat of a smile reading about all this.
I grew up in Vermont, home of VPT (Vermont Public Television). I'm pretty sure this documentary was on every Sunday afternoon for 26 years. But yet I still cheered when I saw your post. He's such a likeable guy and you learn how much woodworking sucks.
If the crossover taught me anything it's that apparently I like the darkness as well. But definitely the darkness without Laurel, more Lyla and more wry-Oliver. Wry Oliver is the best. "I get it Barry, you're fast."
Yeah, especially next to Felicity/Barry who were all familiarity and warmth.
