I tried a month or so ago and still haven't watched anything after the pilot. It felt so manufactured. I'm sure I'll get to it eventually.

“You’re Chloe Carter, you don’t get serious about anyone.” “Well, I’m seriously going to the club.”

Whose high school project was this? Amazing. Also: Shame on you, Wendy Haverford.

I really enjoyed this and seem to have interpreted a lot of the plot differently than Erik did. Russell implying that Nick needed to grow up and his trying to put an end to his daughter's participation in Jess's art class seemed like two very different things to me, not just two sides of him thinking that "that the

It was brilliant.

There often is prepared material. There has been a lot less of it (at least less that we can notice, there may still be some) lately as Scott spends six days a week working on the TV show.

I was just waiting patiently every time the camera flashed to her for her to actually become involved in the plot. I guess she isn't that famous but famous enough that it was weird watching her just be an audience member.

His name is Marc Wootton, he's a British comedian. He has had a couple of shows ala Ali G where he plays a character but no one else knows. Some funny stuff (I would say it is worth checking out) but I often feel the same way about him even in his own shows.

"And that's why the heart is the symbol for Valentine's day."

So in other words, we need both Andre Anders and Portia De Rossi to play Jane and Alex's aunts or cousins.

"Was that Better Off Ted’s Malcolm Barrett as the ticket-taker?"

I was okay with Marty's dickishness within a situation where he is powerless and under a lot of stress. That said, before tonight we've at most seen him be playfully rude with Jeannie and generally being rather nice. The speech she gave him about "never treating her nice" or whatever just felt so forced.
