Re: Josh Brener

I've also seen 1600 Penn.

More like Gucci Mane addiction. Am I right?

This is probably my all-time favorite documentary (or at least tied with Crumb, another great Criterion selection). It was just so much fun. I'm a comedy fan, I love my movies lighthearted, but few things have kept a smile on my face as long as this movie did.

If you rewatch the horrifying three way scene you'll see Karl "fingering" Ders' armpit. For the most part I found this episode lacking but that had me rolling.

I really liked the Target storyline, I thought it was so hilariously Bobby (funnily enough, it did occur to me that it would be funnier in an Ikea). I had kind of assumed that the punchline would be that Target Mary was a legitimately crazy person, but I liked that they played it off like these vacations were a real

I was 1000% sure the whole time that it was going to wind up being that guy behind it. I was surprised (and pleased) that it was just a random Woody Allen shoutout.

Maybe it's just because I listen to so many but I think podcasters by and large would make good subjects.

I kind of assumed that she was meant to seem quietly ashamed of the whole thing, like a really awkward walk of shame. That scene was definitely a little on the nose though.

I can understand being annoyed that Brody was already in the Pentagon in that moment, I can also understand wondering whether or not you'd be able to text in that moment. Brody being in on that meeting makes sense though. A) He was a prisoner of Abu Nazir for years, of course they would think of him and B) The vice
