Aside from the hair color I don't see it. Maybe it is excusable in that shitty low res photo but actually watching the show should have put the comparisons everyone is making to rest.

My understanding was this: The Leviathans need a base host, existing only in some sort of soul-equivalent state. Originally that was Cas, here it was the little girl, the mechanic, and the high schoolers. From there they have the ability to shapeshift. I don't know if they get the memories of the people they shift too…
"I don't remember her ending up in the hospital back then, so I'll assume this is a new circumstance"
Bold choice to make it clear this early on that Sam's visions are all in his head. Although this is Supernatural, so maybe it isn't that clear. Excited either way. Especially excited that they're changing up the Sam and Dean dynamic a bit. This might be the first time in the series we aren't seeing Conflict > Secrets…
Here is to hopening that all of these supporting characters come back. More Matt Besser, more Will Forte, more Jorma, etc.
Because Jess just brought him breakfast in bed.
My little conspiracy theory is that the rocky ground HE is on is the reason they chose to write Coach off instead of recast. He could easily be a recurring character again within a couple of years.
The whole cast of Happy Endings did a live show at UCB a while ago. At the end they had a Q&A session with a fake pair of "world's biggest fans". One of the questions was "Daman, if you could be on any other TV show right now which would you choose." Could not stop laughing.
Yeah, nothing in the recap really points to why this episode deserves a C+. I'd say B or B+ personally. I think its progressing well and even if this was as good as it gets I'd be willing to keep tuning in for the season.
My one complaint was Cecilia or whatever her name was. But all was almost forgiven when they cut to her deadpan look as the two guys argued.
Could not disagree more with the grade. Thought this was a solid episode of TV. Improved on the pilot and wasn't 2 Broke Girls. Can't ask for much more. Up there with Up All Night for me.
As a Canadian I am more than aware of DiGiovanni and her terrible laugh. I always listen to DLM as soon as it is up but I've had that episode sitting unplayed for days. I'll get around to it but the thought irks me.
I think I was more shocked and disgusted at seeing it on television than I would have been had I actually walked in on two bums fucking. "WHAT IS HAPPENING? IT ISN"T EVEN ELEVEN."
This episode actually made me less of a fan of Lisa Lampanelli. Especially during the portion of the episode where she discussed how she repeatedly yells at the people that work for her.
Yeah, they need to figure out better uses of their supporting characters.
He has so far had three dates. That is more than most of the other characters. I wouldn't call him asexual.
"We just want to say, it is jacked up, but it isn't jacked up. Just that we jacked it up, but it isn't jacked up. We jacked the action but no one would say we jacked the action. Just to clarify."
He did extensive dragon research. And extensive Jay Baruchel research.
That is because Happy Endings is good (and wildly different than Modern Family).
Agreed. It is easy to get annoyed at such an okay show getting so much of the attention that all of the amazing shows deserve. At the end of the day it is still an okay show though and I can't really begrudge it for its success. I choose to yell at the Emmy voters instead.
