Dammit!
I'm at work, so I can't really watch this video right now, but I am psyched for it. The Cage is my favorite actor solely for his awesomely bad film freakouts. So I am super pumped for a real-life Cage freak out.
The absolute worst gf I ever had watched this show religiously. I should have put tow and two together based solely on that fact.
Absolutely terrible
Just terrible, all around. Awful, awful terribleness going on here. The Golden Globes are now the same thing as the Grammy's.
New Adventures in Hifi (I think that was the title) was when REM starting losing their commercial power as a band, and it was released in 1996. Great album, don't get me wrong, but a poor seller when compared to their other 90s efforts.
You Get What You Give is a great pop song.
My sister likes Sublime so much that she wallowed in misery during seven (seven!) shitty opening acts at the House of Blues just to hear some Sublime cover band. She could have heard the same thing in her high school, no doubt.
I definitely fell for the mid-90s dance/electronic/industrial trend as well. I mostly remember KMFDM from that era, but also loved Orbital and Underground. By about 2000 or so, I was already nostalgic for that era.
It's good to see Daniel Dae Kim get consistent work, so for that reason alone I will support this show. The guy was criminally underused in the final few seasons of Lost. Criminally underused!
All Twitter feeds…
…are awful. That is all.
I've always wanted to work in higher ed, and I thought I'd made myself more marketable by going into a technology, Counseling and Developmental, and Student Affairs trifecta of awesomeness, but it has not helped me much at all.
We have the Wii ones but not the Xbox ones. Sorry, bro. :(
I'd feel lucky…
…to have a job as an Apple "Genius" at this point. I'm working a season job at a fucking Gamestop because I can't find full-time employment. I was lucky enough to get a "technologist specialist" at a local college, but it's also part-time and has no benefits. The job market is just fucking grim out…
They pretty much had to after the debacle that was the 2010 season (though they were still a good team…). The Red Sox can't fuck around anymore. Winning 2 titles in a decade does that to a team. The fans expect to be competitive every year now.
Will Forte is absolutely terrific as Jenna's boyfriend. I really hope he gets an Emmy nod.
If a show has to result to ripping off something like Psych then it must be pretty bad.
Thanks to the OP for basically summing up my feelings. I love the show, but am a bit critical of it (it can be up it's own ass with its meta humor at times) and I feel like anyone who says anything negative about it here is instantly passed off as a joyless fuck. I love Christmas as much as the next person, but just…
The snowball attack got to a point where it was totally unbelievable (and borderline criminal even), but I still laughed at it. I just accept Dwight as a caricature now and move on. The Office season 7 just isn't The Office season 2 and we have to accept that. It's still reliably funny and Dwight cracked me up tonight.
I absolutely loved Erin stepping in front of Holly to protect Michael. It just seemed so natural for the show. I definitely enjoy the Michael/Erin pairing much more than I thought I would. I know it rang a little false, but I liked their father/daughter dynamic from a few eps ago too.
I like Seinfeld season 4 a lot, but my personal favorite is probably 7 followed by 3. I like the George/Susan plot in 7 and 3 just had some of my all-time favorite episodes (The Subway chief among them). 4 is really pretty great, though I do feel the Jerry tv show subplot goes on a bit too long in places, is somewhat…
