One other thing… I can't believe you did an entire article on '90s electronica without even mentioning BT's "ESCM". That album is every bit as good as anything else in the genre.

I've got to vehemently disagree on Propellerheads and Crystal Method. If nothing else, "Decksanddrumsandrockandroll" and "Vegas" are two of the 5 best running albums ever recorded. They're like adrenaline on CD.
Whig is leaving? Is she being replaced by Socialist or Bull Moose?
I can't believe you liked that Penelope Cruz impression. That was maybe the weakest performance of the night. If she's from Spain, why does she sound just like
Apu Nahasapeemapetilon?
This may be a little off topic, but here goes:
While I fully support this self-released special movement, I wish they would give us more options for media. After I bought this special, I found out that the only format you can download is a 1.6GB .mov file. Honestly, I have no intention of burning this onto DVD and…
Acts of Janice: Are you sure you're not thinking of Donald "Duck" Dunn?
As much as I love Kid Charlemagne, the best track on The Royal Scam is the title track.
"… Michael McDonald’s voice, the most potent in-studio weapon in the Steely Dan arsenal"

My first favorite author
The first book I ever identified as a favorite was "The Green Futures of Tycho" when I was about in 4th grade. I've been a fan my whole life through, and I've read every book mentioned in your obit.
@ Dikachu - Rick Wakeman's stage persona and musical stylings are highly pretentious, in the grandest prog-rock tradition. But try sitting through an interview with Wakeman vs. Jon Anderson, and tell me who you want to punch in the face when you're done with it. I eagerly await your verdict.
No Anderson? Yes!
A. Drama was awesome.
starting at about 1:15…
…is perhaps the most depressing Louis CK show ever.
I just farted. I want my money back.
Best Director
It's hard to tell from the graph, but Mike Leigh looks to be neck-and-neck with Hayao Miyazaki. If he wins, that margin has to be razor thin.
