That's the second time she said it, and by then the "besides love" clause was implied. I mean, the whole reason they came up with the list was to refute Marshall's claim that love was the only reason, so including love didn't make much sense.

Got to call bullshit
So the list was supposed to be "50 reasons to have sex *besides love*" and number 50 was "love?"

Also, The Mountain Kings

The Aardvarks
ZZ Top has the back end of the alphabet sewn up, but if you want your group to always be mentioned first alphabetically, that's the way to go.

Bass line
When I heard that bass line at the beginning of the sample track, I thought she was covering "Come Together." Now that would have had some potential.

Oh, and speaking of Yes, the Morphine album of that name definitely fits.

Yes: Fragile
King Crimson: Discipline
Rush: 2112

Snake? Snake? Snaaaaaake!
What about Solid Snake? Or are we only talking about movie characters?

Yaaaah!
That editing just gave me a seizure, MTV-style. Thanks, AV Club!

Weird Al
No Weird Al? Not a single track? Wow… I guess I know what to get you for X-mas.

Underworld
I'm glad you included those guys. I don't know if it makes you an ignoramus, but I'm well into electronica and I love Underworld. They're among the few people who know how to make a well-crafted 10-minute tripout that's worth every second of its runtime.

I'm sure this will come up in a month or two, but I still think Drama is one of the best albums Yes ever made.

Godfrey Reggio
This included the soundtracks to the first *two* of those films?

When you say, "And Yes, of course," do you mean that you have Trevor Rabin's work with the band Yes, or do you mean (in answer to my first question) that of course Trevor Rabin and Nathan Rabin are related?

Rabin
As long as Trevor Rabin came up this week, I guess this would be a good time to ask a question I've had since I started reading The AV Club:

Toy Matinee
I really was sincerely expecting a rousing discussion of Toy Matinee this week. Seems like something you'd have some history with.

I just checked Amazon, and you can actually download "Rainbow in Curved Air" for $1. Not bad for an 18+minute piece. It's a brilliant work, and well worth hearing just for the Who connection even if you don't like that sort of thing.

Minimalists
You built up all your minimalist cred by including Philip Glass and Steve Reich, and now you don't have anything by Terry Riley or Tangerine Dream?

I'm well on board with both Firefly and Freaks and Geeks.
