I agree! I do understand the criticism the band gets, but their music simply rocks (for the most part). The last album is also my favorite, a little bit more mature than the early stuff. The Darkness are one of the last true rock star bands as we've known from the 70ies and 80ies.
I've seen them live about a year ago

I play so much music and listen to so many styles that there's too many great ones to choose from, but the one I probably come back to most often is the solo of a live version of I Shot The Sheriff at Crossroads Guitar Festival by Eric Clapton. Just an incredibly well crafted, long solo where literally every note

Technically, the transmogrifier might belong to HR, but we all know it's Chekhov's!

Like that's a place.

Nobody said you can't be in favor of sexy progressive female empowerment

I gotta say I didn't think it was a bad episode, but the extremely unsubtle plays of all the popular rom com tropes didn't sit too well with me. For a series finale, I'd really be disappointed.

Is this a TV show or a movie? Because from the tags I can only surmise it's gonna be a show. The trailer on the other hand looks like this thing is going to be done in about 90 minutes.

I was very fortunate to have seen his show in August 2016 when he visited Europe for 4 or 5 shows, I saw him in Amsterdam. It was a two and a half hour drive to the show and a two hour drive back (at European speeds, mind you) from Western Germany to Amsterdam and it was well worth the trip. Probably the best thing

Yes. Also, binging dilutes the experience.

God dammit, what an amazing season of TV. Even though the finale missed the fractured "brainfuck"- kind of narrative, it only fits the narrative of David getting better mentally. But boy, the dialogue stuck. Plenty lines to remember. "The age of dinosaurs is over" sounds a bit corny, but fits amazingly and gives Jean

Maybe it was too on the nose, but I kinda wish she would've sang along to the T.Rex song while watching into the camera.

I found that a lot Hawley's most quotable or distinct lines of dialogue are based within some form of trivial context. I felt the same thing on Fargo, too, where trivial observations fit the universe even better.

As someone who's already a bit further in the series. The bright spot is, once again, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple. Jessica Henwick is solid, too.
Apart from that - meh. It's not that Iron Fist is unbelievably horrible. It's just bland and boring as hell. It's not only, that not much happens, it's that nothing

I've watched 3 episodes thus far and all I can think of is that the title sequence perfectly encapsulates what the rest of the show resembles:

finally someone mentions this? you should read the comments on the other episode. I can't remember one episode where there wasn't somebody commenting sarcastically, how Barry is far from the fastest man alive.

If you can't answer that yourself, you're streets behind

Aubrey Plaza is going to continue to have one hell of a career, that's for sure. Not that I didn't love her in Parks & Rec or Scott Pilgrim and the liked, but she really blossoms as Lenny. By far the best work she's done so far and I'm positive she and Hawley will team up again in the future.

I agree, and I've only ever seen 3 episodes of Hannibal. It makes me really mad that I can't bring myself to watch it in its entirety, but I just don't have the mental stomach for it. To be honest, I've struggled with depression before and I could feel that something about this psychologically twisted Will Graham

I see your point, but I'm afraid nationality is very integral to the movie. You largely have three languages in play (German, English, French, apart from a touch of Italian) and while it's fine to have the English speaking characters talk in English to another, it's already borderline to expect French natives to speak

Yes, baby!
