Why didn't you save Anders!
You're a hack neurologist Hodgman! A HACK!

He is also the voice of Darth Maul and occasionally Vader.

I dunno, I admit I haven't really been keeping up with Miller's work in the last ten years or so (I'm most familiar with his 80's and some of his 90s work), but I recently re-read 'The Dark Knight Strikes Again' and it has some sort of straight from my mind to your eyes greatness about it. It's like if The Ramones

There are many iterations of the soundtrack. Just download the five (or is it six?) disc version, see if you like and then if you do you buy it for real from some shady individual on eBay, and if not just make a playlist of the good stuff.

@lemon of troy: yeah even if that is the case, one note isn't enough to sustain an entire episode, even if that one note is a reference to another great animated series

Get anything as soon as you can. I put off buying the remix set in region 2 and now I'm reduced to getting the region 1 version and although I do have a multi-region DVD player, I prefer using my PS3 (it's a much better DVD player) and you can't hack that (easily) to make it multi-region.

That's funny, because I always think of the Pierrot le Fou episode as the only real bum note in the entire series. Although the character and location design makes up for it to some extent (and especially the opening sequence), but how many time have we seen the "showdown in an amusement park" and "oh the bad guy had

I really must not be getting my point across here, I RIPPED THE LONG GOODBYE AND MCCABE AND MRS. MILLER FROM MY OWN DVDS USING HANDBRAKE! I OWN THEM AND I CAN SEE THEM ON MY SHELF RIGHT NOW!

To be honest I didn't realise that both were written by the same guy. The reason is that I didn't watch much of Downton Abbey because it was boring and Gosford Park was only OK. That's kind of worse though as that just means Fellowes is just repackaging his old stuff.

DVD/Blu-Ray re-releases
Anyone know or have some inside information on a DVD or Blu-Ray remasters of his films? Or even a re-release of Nashville? I cannot get a copy of Nashville anywhere (even internet downloads are at most 1GB and considering the length of the film I don't even want to see what the compression

I love the guys who come to the defence of people on the Internet they don't know. In a way they're more fascinating than the racists / psychos etc. on YouTube comment boards in that I can understand why someone is nuts; but why give a shit about some soulless, anonymous writers on a second-rate website who are

Don't you dare you Japanese, phallus faced, yellow bastard you! Gaelic is a sacred…ah fuck it I can't be bothered, it's nonsense and we all know it.

Alternative insults to the AV Club: I wouldn't give you the steam off my piss / I wouldn't piss in your mouth if your teeth were on fire / and so on…

If you're talking about wolfman'sRazor Deck, I know; that whole bit is a quote from and episode from Alan Partridge. My response is a summary of the dialogue in the next bit of the episode. I suggest you take a course of classic BBC comedy and call me in the morning.

I've read your stuff and seen your video discussions/reviews. The Internet has not taken up the mantle of the printed word. Frankly if it wasn't for the ever hilarious comments I wouldn't even piss in your general direction let alone work for you.

Meh….
….meh

I think I'm right in saying that U2 disbanded after releasing Actung Baby, right? Their legend secure they disbanded for the Grey Havens to the chimes of Eno and Lanois' production.

@fastandsloppy: man I wish I was as decisive as you with deleting stuff I'll probably never watch from my hard-drive. Don't worry 'The Country House Revisited' I'll watch you some day!

Shamus is old 1930s slang for a detective you idiots. The name is spelled Seamus. It's the Irish for James.
