Zombieland is really middle of the road. It passes by with some clever/cute-ness, but the primary storylines don't really provide much to the suspense.

People aren't burned out on zombies
They're burned out on hack storytelling and cliched riffs on a single theme. This has all the pedigree of being something worth watching, zombies and all.
