I think someone has to explain why so many people hate her so much. She tries too hard at times but she's charming and a talented comedic performer. I definitely think she could headline a comedy of her own.

I would be pissed though if Luke Cage was on a tv show instead of being in the awesome movie that he deserves.

Towards the end of season 1 and the first couple of episodes of season 2, the show had actually configured itself and it was extremely entertaining. Annie was never more interesting than when she had to deal with the hit and run case. And once they resolved that pretty interesting mystery in such a stupid manner, the

Community and 30 Rock are both niche shows while The Office and Parks both appeal to casual viewers (More than 50% of the tv audience

I'm not saying it will be successful, just that it will be relatively successful to Sean Hayes's show. Fox definitely has a bigger fanbase than Hayes, plus his comedy as seen from that clip is definitely less edgy and safe for middle America, even if Hayes's show has the laugh track.

I really wonder what kind of meth NBC execs are on.

It was just recently that the night had Parks & Rec, Community, The Office and 30 Rock, as great a night as there ever will be.

I was actually really looking forward to that show. Excellent cast and excellent writers behind it.

30 Rock never got as bad as Community in it's 4th and 3rd season (though I guess that's a minority opinion). Even in its weak 4th season and parts of season 3, the show was still strong but tired.

You know you could just edit it right? This isn't the darkest timeline, just the most ignorant one.

Not only that, the show actually has one of the youngest fanbases on television. It beats Grey's Anatomy, Person of Interest and Glee (all in the same timeslot) in the men between the ages of 18-34 demo.

GET ON YOUR FEET!

I would chalk that up more to Bill Prady than Lorre. Afterall when the show started out Penny the hot ditzy blonde was the only female character.

What irks me is that she and the awesome Allison Janney are acting in fucking Chuck Lorre's show! The guy is a misogynistic pig who can't write good roles for women.

Agree with you. This kind of writing for Winston feels like tokenism at its worst. They have one black guy in the group for diversity but barely give him any storylines or agency. I do think Morris is as good as Greenfield and Johnson but he gets such little material to work with.

Let me start with the good at the end of season 1. The show has several hilarious one liners, Kaling is really good and Messina is fantastic as well. Barinholtz is enjoyable when he has a little screentime. And the romantic comedy aspects of the show are very well observed and funny.

I would love to see the broom handles in your place.

Yeah I loved this episode and I think the show (while not at its season 2 and 3 heights) is still staying very strong. That being said, I would love if next season is its farewell season. It would be amazing if the show can go out strong.

I also loved this episode. Obviously it doesn't compare to last year's tear jerking finale but it really worked as a great companion piece to that one. Last year's finale was about the bright hopefulness that came with a City Hall win and this year it's realizing that politics in the bigger arena is much more messy
