I'm going to second this. Scandal has actually turned out to be a very well acted and truly fun soap opera. And it reminded me of the days when Grey's Anatomy used to be truly addictive.

It's strange Todd that you seem to keep calling out Parks & Rec for its romance plots.
Exactly. Todd is clearly biased towards certain shows and against a few others that he pulls things out of his ass to justify his ideas.
And that lack of conflict is also what sets the show apart from almost every other show on tv.
I just realized for the first time since 2009, Liz Lemon and Leslie Knope are not going to be airing on the same night in the same channel.
Those are hands down the creepiest and most hilarious pictures I've seen.
Yes I am aware of that. I too would marry someone who made such wonderful music.
When she says 'Goodbye Jack Donaghy', I just started bawling like a baby.
One aspect of the show that has been extremely underrated throughout its run is the music. The show's always had an excellent score but it was only in these last two episodes that I realized how wonderful it was in selling the emotional beats of the story.
When Tracy screamed 'Get out of here lady!' I just lost it.
@avclub-de9878e9d33c60263a094abc94fab3f0:disqus But people are just not born mean and confident. April probably developed that sarcasm, probably as a defense mechanism against bullies. People evolve and change throughout their teenage years. It's quite plausible that April was bullied in school but still evolved and…
I think this episode was better than last week's. And I really liked last week. Other than the haphazard resolution of both the garbage collection and basketball storylines, it was a very funny and sweet episode that highlighted more about Pawnee and its government (I would have seen a whole episode of the government…
That moment when Ann was awkward with the kids was one of my favorite Ann moments in a long time.
We're not leaving until this symbolic feminist obstacle is loaded onto that truck of women's advancement.
The difference between IASIP and a Chuck Lorre show is despite the characters being white trashy and pretty despicable, the show is always aware of it and calls attention to it often. Chuck Lorre on the other hand seems to think people find those terrible characters on his shows endearing.
According to Deadline, a comedy pilot at NBC with Donald Glover is quite close to being greenlit :(
I actually love The Village. People keep complaining based on their expectations from the movie rather than the movie itself.
I actually think Community's third season got way too much of a free pass from most of its AV Club fans despite being a huge step down from season 2. And Parks got too much of a bad rap for its election storyline so I'm fine with their rankings.

Maybe because not everyone is that biased against major network sitcoms as you.
