It's the same Ashly Burch. She wrote quite a few episodes for seasons 7 and 8,

I don't think his arm is anything to worry about.

I dunno. I mean, didn't we all think that Farmworld Finn had poofed into oblivion after "Jake the Dog"? This episode allowed him to have a happy life with this family, and it also allowed the series to fix that damn continuity error in the original episodes. I'm satisfied.

I'm not going to lie, I think this season is going to end up being my favorite, and I'm a season 4 man myself.

BLASPHEMY!

And I don't even really see this as a metaphor for depression.

This miniseries has been the single-most compelling storyline that AT has told since the beginning of season 6. The miniseries does an excellent job of balancing humor and seriousness, flashbacks and present day, and character-based drama and emotion. Giving this a "B" is just ridiculous.

I got a season four vibe outta this episode. This week was great!

This season has been really throwback-y. I love it!

This episode wasn't as good as the fifth or sixth season openers, but it was way, way better than a "C+".

I agree. "Everyting's Jake" was just kind of there. It had some great guest voices (courtesy of BIlly West), but it wasn't really that funny and it was actually pretty sad. This one was pretty funny and silly in a season-one-sorta-way.

I agree. This season seems… funnier… and more akin to seasons of the past. It's not perfect by any means, but it's pretty good.

While I dunno about season 1, it definitely had an older season feel to it. Pretty funny, too. I nearly died when Phil played back his video edits.

I think that Clarence is easily my second-favorite TV series, right after AT.

I always really loved "The Gift" (totally agree with the grade) and didn't get why people hated it *that* much. I understand that the retcon wasn't the best thing in the world, but considering that Duchovny kinda threw a monkey wrench into the series' plans, I think it is forgivable plot device.

I also thought that ending shot with Mulder was… spooky.

Other than agreeing that SU is pretty good, I completely disagreed with everything you said!

I actually really like "The Gift", but then again I think I might be in the minority.

If only the fakir would've turned into Mulder. That would've made that ending so good. I'm sure Duchovny couldn't have been bothered, though…
