Who are you to pass judgment on another person's mutually consenting choice of a romantic partner…oh wait.

Which one was the one with the alien pigs?  Cause I read through that at least.

Sepinwall eviscerated it as well, but a 0 coming from IGN?  Considering they grade inflate like none other, that's really fucking atrocious.

Are we counting Terry Crews as a joke?

I've been postponing my Wheel of Time reread for 2 years now - I was going to start right before the first Sanderson one came out, cause I figured then I would be finished around the time he wrapped up the series.  Now I'm totally fucked, cause the list of things I'd rather read than slogging through books 7-11 of

What did you think of Alloy of Law?  I just finished Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy and I'm curious about it.

I also like how Matt Damon bears a startling resemblance to Elrond.  And there's a fucking lion just chilling back there.

I do need to get out more, but that doesn't change the fact that I was pleasantly surprised by First Class.

High-profile genre movies that I enjoyed in 2011 (not that I'm saying they're the best films of the year, though they would be on my personal top 20 since I haven't seen a lot of the limited release films):

Dawes has transcended concepts like "race" and "diversity".  Dawes is in all of us.  We are all Dawes.

Yeah, Attention Deficit was alright - pretty sure it got like an A- here at the AV Club.  Just not as good as some of his mixtape work, and a little too all over the place to find an audience.

See also: Goodkind, Terry.  Obviously the Sword of Truth series had much bigger issues down the road than overpowered magic, but it always bothered me that they made the main character essentially able to obliterate a whole army just cause he was pissed.

I've been putting off doing my WoT re-read for months now; maybe I should finally get around to it.  The consistency of the rules is probably a product of Jordan being a crazy meticulous plotter and world-builder - some of the main issues with the series are also a result of that, but it's pretty important if you're

Came in here just to say that Batman:TAS theme and X-Men (TAS) theme were touchstones of my childhood.

What's the Honeycrisp of this metaphor? Skyrim? Cause Honeycrisp are obviously far better than Fuji or Braeburn.

BF2 was better, in my opinion.  Whoops, I think I did that wrong.
