Wow I thought I was the only person who had seen Titus, or at least the only one to have liked it. It does indeed own, and Harry Lennox is fucking great in it.

@Charley
You had me at "tits"

The Fountain
To anyone who has seen The Fountain, I would very much appreciate it if they could tell me if it's worth watching - I've heard mixed things (from god-awful to pretty good). And I only watch things that people on the Internet tell me are good.

Yeah, he's pretty crazy. He also maintains that Tyler Perry is a national treasure. Go figure.

Fringe
If you're looking for a show with both interesting mysteries and characters, Fringe has been pretty awesome when it's at the top of its game. I won't make any judgments without watching The Event first, but from what I've read so far it seems like it's almost an exact replica of FlashForward, which is not

What about Punjab? Hehe. Punjab

OR are the Rolling Stone reviews AV Club-sized? Discuss.

When there's nowhere else to run, is there room for one more first?

Agreed

But I sent you away, oh Mandy
Yeah, for me Moira Kelly as Mandy on The West Wing is pretty much the embodiment of this list. Every time I think back on Season 1 of TWW, I remember it as really fucking awesome - which is true. But then when I sit down to watch it, the second Mandy's face appears I start swearing at

Why don't you just put a seat belt on then? Punk bitches

Yeasayer's pretty awesome, but I like Vampire Weekend as well! Go figure.

Devil In the White City
You thought the Holmes/Burnham stories were "strongly intertwined?" Because I always thought that they were only intertwined in a loosely chronological sense - and towards the middle of the novel, the passages on Holmes began to be much more interesting than the rather boring bits on Burnham,

Um, part of it probably has to do with the fact that like 30 people are commenting on this, and not very many reading it, because no one really gives a shit about "White Collar". It's not a bad show, but if you're actually getting upset about anything related to it, you really need to get a life. Or just watch some

Yes, it could be, Zieg. But tell me, have you ever seen Next? Because that was supposed to be a fun big stupid action movie with a fantasy/sci-fi element. Just watch it, and you'll understand why this scares me more than superAIDS

Will we finally find out the answer to the age old question, "How'd it get burned?!"

Bangers
Really, Spencer - if that is your real name? Here in the States, we call them sausages in the mouth.

I have nothing to add to this conversation except that Batman: TAS was awesome. Made the Mad Hatter actually a decent villain. Actually every Batman villain was pretty well-done on that show. Plus the addition of Harley Quinn.

North By Northwest
For the longest time when I was little, I was convinced that the whole ending of North By Northwest was a dream. Younger me's theory: they fall asleep on the train, dream about the whole Mt. Rushmore sequence, and then wake back up on a train. Yeah, it makes no sense whatsoever, but deep inside me
