And I'm going to COMPLETELY undercut everything I just said by remembering he also directed The Color Purple.

Spielberg is clearly capable of making brutal, brutal films - Munich, Schindler's List, and Saving Private Ryan isn't exactly all rainbows either - but all those have (admittedly to a much lesser extent with Ryan) - connections to his Jewish heritage.

m1ngle, it's not worth it. They just want to shit on something popular because it makes them feel pretty.

"Takes itself far too seriously"

"used gimmicks to hide the fact that the author was telling a familiar story, and not doing it very well."

No, "Duel Citizenship" was the weakest episode this season by a wide margin.

Coraline, Up, Fantastic Mr. Fox and 9 are probably going to be on there. Ponyo might be the last on that list.

It's the Fringe Division, not exactly the biggest, nor the most stringent, of divisions within the FBI.

Burn Notice's voice-overs are largely accurate, to a point. However, due to what I call the "Fight Club Rule," there are just some tricks they want to allude to but can't/won't broadcast.

I feel like Fringe and Burn Notice are having similar growing pains. USA is wanting to reel in Burn Notice's mythology and pulling back to job-of-the-week. It seems like, in its second season, Fringe has pulled back a bit as well.

What's in the booooooxxxx?

I remember enjoying the first BDS movie when I was sixteen and finally got my hands on the DVD.

Episodes are largely judged by how they ended - in this case, the ending took that of "Hundred Dollar Baby" and cranked it up to eleven.
