DEADWOOD "AMATEUR NIGHT" Review (3x09)

DEADWOOD "LEVIATHAN SMILES" Review (3x08)
It’s interesting to see so many new characters being introduced this close to the end of the series, but I suppose it’s true to life and its progression: people will move in and out, some influential, most not. Many are looking to be, though, and that seems to be a good

DEADWOOD "UNAUTHORIZED CINNAMON" Review (3x07)
“As free men facing important challenges, we choose to be optimistic.”

Yeah that's probably a better way to put it.

DEADWOOD "A RICH FIND" Review (3x06)
"People are fucking people, and that is fucked up!”

DEADWOOD "A TWO-HEADED BEAST" Review (3x05)
Can we talk about the fact that Captain Turner gets his eye ripped out of its socket in this episode? There’s one point in time where that eye is firmly snuggled in its rightful place, but when we check in a bit later, it’s hanging out in the middle of the thoroughfare while

DEADWOOD "Full Faith and Credit" Review (3x04)
“People are strange about things, Charlie.”

One of the most creative works of art I've seen from television. It not only built a fun and engaging world through its concept, but also demonstrated just how great these writers are when it comes to character development. The way Bojack's communication and connection struggles tied into the storyline was brilliant,

Green Room, Everybody Wants Some, The Neon Demon, Krisha

I enjoyed the snakes in the background at the (bat) bat mitzvah.

SPOILERS

I'm 8 in. All great, but ep. 4 in particular was incredible.

I liked the ending but I have no idea why that episode was nominated for writing over so many better options this season.

Speaking of, I would've loved to see some recognition for Rhea Seehorn. She was the star of the show this season.

Remember how Oscar Isaac gave an incredible performance in Show Me a Hero

Carrie Coon fucking destroys most of those actress nominations.

FUCK YEAH THE AMERICANS, it's about time.

First off, I'm happy that movies like this are getting made and that distributors like A24 are trying to bring them to more people (same with Broad Green Pictures/Neon Demon, even if these two movies had a combined theater life of about 3 weeks). As for the movie itself: it's not bad–the great score

I think Fargo is only a fraction of the show people say it is but this makes me quite excited for the new season.

Makes sense, a stylistic/symbolic flourish that's supposed to get us to remember that moment.
