I'm just happy in general that Teti is reviewing Mad Men. He's my favorite reviewer on the site.

DEADWOOD "A LIE AGREED UPON, PARTS 1 and 2" REVIEW (2x01/2x02)
“Welcome to fuckin’ Deadwood. Can be combative.”

I liked the finale, but the last few minutes knocked it down a notch for me. All they had to do to get me on board for season two was cut to a card that said "Yes, Kyle Chandler will still be in the next season", but instead, they decided to end on a pretty dumb cliffhanger. Next thing we know, that kid will

VERONICA MARS Season 2….
EPISODE 17: “PLAN B”

I actually don't have a problem with Homeland's first season Emmy win. There were probably better shows on the air when it won, but that first season was still fantastic.

That was last year's Emmys. Fargo won Best Miniseries and a Directing award.

Shameless is on Sundays, everybody!

If it were up to me, Aden Young and Mads Mikkelsen would also be there (although I don't think Hannibal season 2 or 3 will be eligible, but it doesn't matter anyway because the Emmy voters won't nominate it).

Especially now that Cranston, McConaughey, and Harrelson won't be there. Just wait, though. They'll probably find some way to give it to British Guy from Downton Abbey or something.*

Henry: This football game is so fun!
Philip: Be quiet, Henry, we're right in the middle of telling your sister that we're Soviet spies.
Paige: Wait, what?
Elizabeth: Are you fucking kidding me, Philip?
Stan: Hey, guys! I have the whole FBI on the phone, just because.
Henry: Guess what, Stan! My parents are Soviet spies!!!

I was hoping they'd go the "Yes, Paige, we are aliens" route.

I completely disagree with that assessment of Keri Russell's acting, but yes, that scene you mentioned was phenomenal. That look they gave each other before they told her was beautifully acted, and what really makes them great is their ability to communicate just as much through words unsaid as they do through

This was all obviously just a ploy by Paige to get her parents to let her stay home from school.

There are times during this final stretch that the characterization is a little iffy and the plot is pretty ridiculous, but in terms of being really damn suspenseful, the show nails it. For me, this is one of the high points of the season, and the shorter ~49 minute running time helps keep the episode moving/building

Okay, now I really wish Markham actually said that.

Next week, Raylan takes off his clothes and Boyd puts on Raylan.

That Katherine-Mikey fight scene was really something else, and the music playing in the background was such a great contrast to what was going on in the RV. Once again, I am impressed by the way this show is able to take minor characters like Mikey and give them such poignant, compelling storylines in minimal screen

And not only that, but he even joked about it himself earlier. That was some great stuff from Davidson, at least until he started going on about how Bieber was an inspiration. But still, "Soul Plane was the worst experience of my life involving a plane" was a brilliant line.

Man, I feel so bad for Ian right now. We all know that someone like Mickey is going to be 1000 times better for him than Monica will ever be, but it's completely understandable why he'd feel the need to leave. He essentially has to sit there and listen to his family list everything that's wrong with him, and then to
