And the guy who played Todd, for being willing to get his eye blown out just for that scene. The commitment of these actors is something else.

That was definitely the hardest scene for me to watch all season, and that's saying something considering we had things like the suitcase, the tooth pulling, the necklacing, etc. Of course, this being The Americans, it was also an absolutely phenomenal, heartbreaking scene, and Lois Smith and Keri Russell were…
I agree that Justified is an amazing show, but the final season of The Shield is arguably the show at its best (season 5 comes close). I don't think it went downhill at all; in fact, it turned it up several notches and delivered the best series ending I've seen.
This will place me in an even smaller minority, but I'd take The Leftovers over Game of Thrones any day of the week.
It's been scientifically proven that Chastain cannot give anything less than a good performance, but I can definitely see your problems with the character. Anyway, as much as I love Interstellar, it's probably not Chastain's best performance of the four; in fact, that may go to The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby.
She went to bed at 11:49 PM last night, in case you were wondering.

EPISODE 14: "VERSATILE TOPPINGS"
That last scene between Danny and his father is really fantastic, and it might be my favorite scene of the season so far. So tense and well acted by Shepard and Mendelsohn, and it's a big moment that the show nails perfectly. I also completely agree with Kayla about the scene on the dock with Meg and her dad.
I've read your reviews from time to time, and they've always been great. Keep doing what you're doing. This is a perfectly fine place to put them, and you should also make sure you save them at a blog or something similar!
"I've been standing behind counters for 7 months waiting for the perfect time to tell you guys."
I don't think so, but if this actually happened to be the case, Netflix could've used these shows a few years ago, back when House of Cards was actually disappointing. Now, I've accepted the show's mediocrity.
I liked this pilot and I'm looking forward to watching more (even if it was shitty, I'd watch the whole season just for this cast, and honestly, I'd do it just for Coach Taylor). This is definitely a show big on atmosphere and setting, and aside from the cast, that's the best part of this episode because it really…
That image above is very offensive to me, and I do not care for it.
I was sold on this the moment I heard that Coach Taylor and Lindsay Weir would be in a show together.
I am of the opinion that those words are 100% true. There are a good number of Spartacus episodes that make Blackwater look like amateur hour, and Blackwater was a damn good episode of television.
AV Club March Madness
That entire sequence at the pizza parlor was absolutely stellar. You knew it would be good when most of the main characters showed up in the same room together, but when Loretta stuck it to Markham with her big speech, it was glorious. I can't wait to see how this all turns out.

Are we still doing March Madness this year? We can use the group from last year:
