Derrick Rose out for the season, Patrick Kane out for 6-10 weeks. A bad day to be a Chicago sports fan.

Leslie pushing Ben out of the way to get to Ann was one of my favorite moments of the finale. I would've expected nothing less from her.

I really loved this ending, and I really loved this show in general. Even though I could talk about an endless amount of scenes from the finale, I'll single out two here: Ron's moment on the canoe and Ben announcing that Leslie was running for governor. Both were beautiful moments in their own ways, whether it be in

I'm still waiting on that Jessica Chastain-Amy Adams movie.

If Richard Linklater really wants to win, he should think about spending more time on his next movie.

The real winner of 2014 was Whiplash.

Upon hearing of The Imitation Game's win, Terrence Howard burst into tears.

I'm guessing Digifreak was the other Shameless vote? I think he's the only other one here who watches it.

I still really liked Masters of Sex this year. I understand why some people had problems with it, but I still found it extremely compelling week to week, even if the season as a whole wasn't as strong as the first (as you said). Plus, I can't not vote for Sheen and Caplan.

Yay, Rectify!

I feel the exact same way about Shameless.

A MOST VIOLENT YEAR
To convey what went on in 1981 New York City, A Most Violent Year relies less on actual violence and more on crafting a very deliberate mood. We hear news reports of violent crimes, we see decay at every turn, and we feel the corruption blanketing the city as our characters go about their business.

This and Rectify are probably my two favorites.

And that last shot of Ian's face was haunting. One of the most powerful moments I've seen in this show, or any show.

I think it was less the show being smart about which category to enter into and more about whether the voters were smart enough to vote for this show. Evidently, they weren't, but hey, ya gotta make room for Modern Family and Big Bang Theory and Downton Abbey and House of Cards, amirite? Anyway, in terms of getting

That scene at the end was absolutely brilliant, but another one of my favorite Noel Fisher acting moments tonight was during Mickey's call to Ian. The way his voice trembled there and his "I love you"…man, what a great moment.

What a performance by Cameron Monaghan. This cast is incredible.
