I love him too. He's a hot mess but he's a well-intentioned one and for all his buffoonery, I feel like his sweetness makes up for it.

I think she's easily the MVP amongst the teens. I have mad love for the rest of the female cast on this show but she's definitely operating on another level.

My mind was already composing a smash cut to Alice turning up in a River Vixens outfit and competing with Cheryl for dominance of the cheer squad.

Missed opportunity for shirtless Archie #421

BTW LaToya, this was a great review. You've been killing it with your coverage!

I totally get this. The boy is dumber than a rock but his earnest, well-meaning stupidity makes him the perfect foil for everybody else in this show who's so much smarter than him.

I mean, the maple syrup plotline blessed us with some truly great outfits. Twilight gave us….vampires…in baseball uniforms.

I know right? I was like, at this rate, Ronnie's going to run out of girls in this town…

Oh my god, this episode was GOLD.

I was talking about Riverdale with a friend on the train when a stranger overheard and jumped right in. So you know, Riverdale - ~uniting strangers on a commute since 2017~

Jericho was almost 10 years ago 0____0

Waaaaiiittt, how do we know that Polly's actually pregnant…?!?!?!

She easily makes Archie more interesting by association (also, waaaay gorgeous)!

I would love some more actual scenes between Kevin/Joaquin because they went from drive-in makeout to boyfriends off-screen while we had to sit through multiple episodes of Archie playing a guitar.

Judging from that scene between Hal and Alice, I'm guessing we're never going to see Chic Cooper on this show… :|

I think it only really struck me this episode how uninterested I am in the murder mystery stuff. Like you said, the drama surrounding the murder has been far more interesting and in terms of 'shaking up the status quo', the reveal is hardly going to be any more shocking than anything that's been uncovered during the

Agreed. Stylistically, this show has kind of sunk back into CW blandness.

Madchen is so good.

Alice Cooper throwing that remote at Hal was the best.

Leighton Meester is so adorable in this, I wish she was in a better show. I have no idea how this was meant to have any longevity beyond a youtube sketch.
