Meadow was front-loaded with good songs, but it starts to fizzle out a few songs in.

I love Archers (and Noel is right — never made a bad record), and I love Crooked Fingers. I think I come back to Bachmann's more recent stuff more often, though, including his recent solo album. Still, I'd have a hard time picking one over the other.

He was resurrected? I thought it might've been because of the rigor mortis.

That's what I understood from the linked article. Sean's wording is sort of vague.

Seasons v. episodes
Doesn't the 'no … more than 10' comment refer to episodes per season, not total seasons? My reading comprehension might not be up to snuff.

"Fourchan" and "thinking" are kind of mutually exclusive.

Burning Airlines, too.

While Electra 2000 has a couple of real gems on it, Fillet Show is almost track for track a wreck. (Well, "Staring at the Sun" is pretty sweet, I guess.) They were kind of a different band on Fillet Show, though - Andy Switzky was the main creative force then, and he left after that album.

Quite the number of Fourchan folks here these days. Weird.

There are a few decent zombie board games. The company Twilight Creations churns out zombie game after zombie game, and some of them are a lot of fun (Zombie Survival and Zombies!!!!, specifically). I've heard Last Night On Earth is also quite good.

Z-Man (which is really one dude) produce tons of great games. Pandemic is worth checking out, especially by anyone who thinks board games are boring.

Two board games, actually
Kinda old news, but….

Finn plays sometimes in concerts (you can hear it squeaking out of his little amp every once in a while), but it seems more like a prop than anything else. I'm guessing he actually plays on the Hold Steady studio albums. Guessing is the key word there.

Craig Finn, guitarist
I'm guessing we'll finally be able to hear Craig Finn's guitar here? Maybe?

Nice write-up
This was a really nice tribute, Mr. O'Neal. Arness seemed like a class act.

"What are you supposed to be, some kind of a cosmetologist?"

New ending line
"I don't love this town!"
-Winston Zeddemore

It had some stupidly catchy tunes on it, though most few stacked on the front end of the album. Roeser's Electric Airlines "solo" project was quite good too, but actually finding a copy of the album is nigh impossible.

I saw Kato during his solo album tour, and he can indeed solo. I just think at this point he'd rather just let Roeser do the heavy lifting.
