I actually thought Kato was the band's sole vocalist when I was a kid. Har.

Been enjoying this album
There are some nice tunes here, and some nice guitar hooks here and there. I'd say most of the album is closer to latter-day Cheap Trick (the better albums, at least) than the Nuge.
The showrunners have mentioned in passing that they'd probably have to split the third book into two seasons (or work with more than 10 episodes in a single season). They'd also piece books four and five together and film them chronologically as two seasons, which makes a lot of sense.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Carpenter-directed "Pro-Life" is almost unwatchable.
There are a few small breweries popping up around the city that are pretty good, too. Beaver Brewing Co. has a couple of winners, though they're (he's?) growler-only at this point.
Wait, you dared me to name one. I named three. I FAILED.
Church Brew Works, East End Brewery, Penn Brewery. Those are just the ones in the city.
Why are people even talking about Iron City brewery? There're plenty of better brewers in the city than IC.
Buffalo Tom
I haven't heard their newest album yet, but Three Easy Pieces (from…2008, I think?) was a pretty solid album.
It seems like Versus fans have different favorites, but the album Two Cents Plus Tax would be my next step. It's insanely good. Secret Swingers is another winner. Hurrah has a couple of amazing songs on it (I can't go a week without listening to "Said Too Much"), but it's a tad more spotty than their earlier albums.…
They put a great live show, too. And they're super nice guys. I hope they get some more attention (the good kind).
Agreed. The dude has an impressive body of work, and is a super nice guy. I just wish he'd break out his saxophone more often.
Well, just to nitpick, this band's first album (Sudden Oak…kind of a mess, actually) came out in 2000, and the band (in its early form) had been tinkering around a few years prior, since the late '90s.
Dolorean has been around a lot longer than Delorean.
Yeah, I remember this album getting some flak upon it's release. It's honestly held up the best out of all of their albums, Bandwagonesque included. Not that they have any bad albums, though.
Two years is nothing in Malicktime.
Multiverse theory
Arthur Conan Doyle wrote a book about lame Holmes fan trying to solve murders (they all got butchered by the killer). I don't think it was ever published.
Why even go to the CDC?
My guess? Just to get any lack of explanation of the virus/whatever out of the way. They barely even touch on the 'what is it?' aspect of the disease in the comics (at least, as far as I can remember), so they probably just used Dr. Jenner as walking exposition for the folks that WANT ANSWERS…
Good eye!
