U4 is still very much an Uncharted game but there are a bunch of new wrinkles that make it stand out. A lot of the levels are much bigger and allow more than one route forward, stealth is a very viable strategy, etc. It's easily my favorite gameplay-wise and probably overall too.

This seems like more of a "you" problem

It's an obvious pick but I just love "Kill v. Maim" so damn much. The drum machine leading into the chorus is so huge. And the way she growls "They don't know me!" But yeah "Pin" is up there too.

As I mentioned in the trailer thread I just finished the second book of The Dark Tower. I like it a lot but the racial stuff in one character's story has not aged well.

There is no point, we're a bunch of hyperintelligent apes in an unfathomably large universe, who will eventually sow our own destruction and if all goes well, cede the rock we inhabit to something less harmful.

I just got the Wolf Alice album a couple weeks ago and can't stop listening to it. "Soapy Water" is great but "Silk" is my favorite.

Queens of the Stone Age - This Lullaby
Spoon - New York Kiss
New Order - As It Is When It Was
Death Cab for Cutie - Passenger Seat
The Decemberists - The Culling of the Fold
Franz Ferdinand - Well That Was Easy

So this, Sense8, and Kimmy Schmidt are out in consecutive weeks. Good thing I have no life.

I just finished the second book last night. I know it's supposed to get pretty rough towards the end but I'm enjoying it so far and I could use a project. Anyway this would look decent if Akiva Goldsman wasn't involved.

Ah yes, "pitch deck," that term we're all familiar with. Why don't you tell me what it means just so I know you know.

Do you think crediting this to Jessica Yu in the reviews box on the homepage may be taking auteur theory a little too far?

Agreed, I still listen to every episode but with noticeably less anticipation. What I've seen of that actual show seems pretty awful too.

Well said. I really don't get the appeal at all. Frankly none of the Bajillion people have made much of an impression on me besides Tarver. Or wait unless Tawny Newsome is from there too, she's pretty good.

They're good though

I stuck with PB until the bitter end but those last couple months were super depressing.

Oi bruv

That dude is 76 and is in better shape than me

That kangaroo court scene was fucking brutal. That kind of stuff always pushes my buttons, the prospect of being so utterly hopeless before authority no matter what the truth or moral right is.
