Since you mention emo, I had a couple Saves the Day albums that I guess weren't bad, but did absolutely nothing for me. Then some more obviously awful stuff like fucking Hoobastank and Live. Though I still kind of enjoy Live ironically. "MORE WINE!"

Ha yeah, I cull mine every couple years but there was still some stuff that I can't believe I ever liked. On the other hand I did "discover" some stuff I liked a lot but had never really given a fair chance.
Yeah that's kind of how I remembered it (I know there's scenes like that one where the Eyes show up at her work and they're like "wait, which army is this?", but little more than that) and I agree, that just made it better, seeing it all from her level. Thanks!
Almost 2 years ago I started a project of listening to my entire music library in alphabetical order. While still making time for all the new stuff and old stuff that randomly struck my fancy of course.
I think a character in Catch-22 had that exact motto
They do! I saw them in January and even though the majority of the setlist was new stuff I didn't know it was really good. Crowd was eating it up too.
Big Thief is great. The follow-up album is already coming out in June, I'm highly anticipating it.
Oh well that's all I remember. My mistake.
Man this was a more or less perfect adaptation, the first episode at least. So much stuff straight from the book but enough elaboration, small changes to make it breathe on its own. Looks great too and like it has a decent budget behind it.
It's covered in like one sentence in the book, but
Seriously. Incredible cardio.
That moment in Stop Making Sense, when it cuts from a long unbroken shot of Byrne during "Once In A Lifetime" to frame him, the backup singers, and Bernie and Jerry…that's one of the great shots ever.
Sorely underrated album
I just started the second Dark Tower book. I like it more than the first so far.
I started Rise of the Tomb Raider last weekend. I'm barely into it but it seems good and an improvement on the first reboot. Really appeals to the OCD/anal collector in me.
I can never decide what the best version of "Drugs"/"Electricity" is but that one is damn good.
Smashing Pumpkins - Behold! The Night Mare
Talking Heads - Listening Wind
Iron & Wine - Peace Beneath The City
Nine Inch Nails - Only
Metric - Stadium Love
EL VY - Careless
Oh man I just listened to the second half on my commute home. This was one of the bro-iest episodes ever but so good. That whole run about precum/prechowder had me dying.
The more time passes the more I'm convinced this is if not the best movie ever made, my favorite movie ever made.
From that scene, Hedaya's delivery of "Nothin'!" when asked if he wants anything is absolutely incredible.
