I guess this means an end to the Game of Thrones/Silicon Valley/Veep triumvirate. That was an all-time great night of television.

His was kind of set apart, there was at least one antechamber or whatever separating him from everyone else. I can't see where it fits on the diagram though.

The SCDP layout was much more fun than the SC one

He's the last guy to come on so only in the last 25-30 minutes, but I found the whole episode very pleasing.

I never would have imagined a story about being so out of your mind on drugs that you shit yourself on set could be so damn boring.

Carl Tart's "Chief" character on this morning's CBB is the best new character in ages. It seemed like everyone in the room was shocked at how funny he was, and they were already talking about bringing him back midway through the appearance.

The pee story is 100% real

Hot Fuss holds up.

What are some other "hate men" series

Man I feel like I've been seeing this trailer for a solid year. Glad that's finally over.

Maddox actually started for the Steelers for a couple years, leading them to the playoffs once even. In fact the only reason Roethlisberger started his rookie year was because Maddox suffered a horrific injury in the first or second game I think. Christ, I'm old.

Slate's sports podcast did a segment on this this week and they had the director on, and he absolutely refused to admit that McMahon was anything but a saint. It was embarrassing.

no

"Couleurs" owns. I was pleasantly surprised to hear them do it live.

The Smiths - Half A Person
My Morning Jacket - Masterplan
Metric - Dreams So Real
Operators - Shape of Things
Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band - Roosevelt Room
Blur - Popscene

Yeah, I'm a little more charitable than you, but I'm not a big fan either. For some reason he's been promoted to the designated co-host role too like Gino, Wompler, Mantzoukas, etc. which is never a good start for an episode.

I think that may have been my favorite episode yet. Just incredible from beginning to end, and so impossibly inside. Like you need a working knowledge of every Gabrus appearance on HH, Doughboys, High and MIghty, and the fact that Wengert writes for New Girl to even start to get all of the jokes.

I'm so fucking ashamed of this country. We deserve whatever horrible fate is surely in store.

There are like 6 different hooks in that song that would be the centerpiece of an album for most other bands. Insane.

I missed today's but I am very much in for the future.
