Yeah this album sucks, but I did see them live and figured it would kind of suck as well, especially without Matt Tong, but it was actually a fun time. The venue was half empty but everyone there was super into it. And they did 2 encores.
Dude you have now responded to this same comment 3 different times. I get it, you hate her.
I mean you seem pretty steadfast, no point trying to convince you to like her. I think she's great though.
Well I'm gonna have to disagree with you there Larry!
She didn't do the UK tour
I think Nick has said on twitter that they would never do McDonald's. He didn't offer a reason though.
Madness. Every song is a masterpiece except "Blake's Got A New Face."
I like it and I'm an awkward shut-in. Hypothesis NOT PROVEN.
Very Uncharted 3
Heh, yeah he looked so impotent and unintimidating out of costume. Even shorter somehow.
I don't know about the "soapy" term, but I do think those 2 season 3 plotlines were pretty weak and make it one of my least favorite seasons. There's still melodrama, but season 4 and 5 are my favorites, with some of my favorite TV episodes of all time.
Has anyone done a joke about how attractive Doona Bae is using millennial/internet slang? Could be a rich vein, I dunno.
Yeah kind of like everything Tarantino's made involves hyperviolent but charismatic, articulate criminals and everything Anderson has made involves ennui-affected people from the upper middle class. Who cares.
The long layoff made me forget this show even existed, but now I'm hyped again. Loved the first season even for all its flaws and idiosyncrasies. It was sui generis, if you will.
I like the first part more than you do, but you are dead on about that Joelle scene. Beautifully written, powerful, and also that's when enough plot details start getting dropped that you can start to figure out what is going on.
Yeah it's very hard to remember bands that were once the biggest band in the world and whose songs still get played and referenced constantly.
I have the same vivid memory of that performance. I was tearing up by the end of the song it was so powerful.
That passing siren has to be the greatest accident in the history of recorded audio. Well maybe not but it's up there.
Yeah, I was going to say "Tunnels," but then again it's pretty much just as powerful as it was 12 years ago for me.
